Ramblings of a Cluttered Mind...

Cluttered mind... Cluttered house... but maybe there is hope, if I can just dump my thoughts here...

Last Week...

Last week, I spent most of the week in downtown Seattle... running around doing fun stuff, and kick-started our training for work.

My cousin Marianne flew in from Ohio for training, and Sheila drove down from Vancouver, BC (Canada) on Tuesday night. Marianne's flight was delayed a bit, so that caused some added chaos.

Wednesday, we met on Mercer Island for breakfast, and then proceeded to the Seattle Center to play at the Pacific Science Center and watch Lewis & Clark on IMAX, then we headed downtown to the Westin building where our servers and conference rooms are.

We had chinese food delivered for lunch, and started on some basic training topics. Wednesday night some of the Atlas girls/wives gathered for dinner at Qdoba and then came back to my house to watch movies and chat, while Sheila worked her hair style magic...

Thursday, we had training in the morning and afternoon, with a break in the middle of the day to visit the Seattle Underground...

...then we met up at the Newport Bay restaurant in Tukwila for dinner with all the Atlas employees. Jon had custom Jones soda bottles made up for each of us, so that we can "see" who we all work with on a regular basis. They turned out really cool.

Friday, we met downtown one more time for training. We went out to Benihana's for lunch. Marianne learned to use chopsticks, and she even tried sushi. On the way back home Friday evening, we got lost on Mercer Island when we got off to get a drink... we eventually found a Starbucks (big surprise)... but it was a lovely drive around the island. Friday night Sheila finished up Renee's, Marianne's, and my hair... now we all look "Lovely".

What a week...!!! All that in 3 days... I think we should spread it out over a longer time period next time, but it was a lot of fun.
